FruityFaces Ltd was created for two main reasons - to promote healthy eating and to raise funds for
children's charities through the sales of our products. We want to
create happy healthy children throughout the world - we would like to thank everybody for their support
so far!
Donations So Far ...
Nov 2006 - £5,000 to African Revival's 'The Education Project in Uganda'
July 2007 - £2,500 to Amber (UK) and £2,500 to FARA
We run the business on a low budget gaining support from many businesses and individuals who donate or volunteer their time and services so we can donate as much profit as possible to our nominated charities.
We have nominated three small charities that we feel deserve support as they spend their funds very carefully to make a real impact within the communities they work in.
We have chosen:
African Revival www.africanrevival.org who support rural communities in East African countries to enable them to break out of the cycle of poverty. 100% of donations are spent directly on the ground on projects such as education, medical care, micro financing and vocational skills training.
Fara www.faracharity.org who work with Romanian abandoned children providing them with a home, education and the opportunity to live a fulfilling life.
Amber www.amberweb.org. who help young long term unemployed people in the UK whose lives are going nowhere; young people who may also be homeless, have misused drugs or alcohol, lack self-esteem or been involved in crime.
